Catawba Paper Box was formed in 1939 to service the local textile industry. Over the years, the company has evolved into one of America’s premier box manufacturers, producing boxes for a wide variety of companies all over North America. Catawba Paper Box is family-owned and operated.

We source the best materials, all American-made. Catawba Paper Box is centrally located on the Eastern seaboard in NC. This allows us to easily ship all over the U.S. at low costs.
ECO-FRIENDLY
Feel safe knowing that Catawba Paper is looking after our environment. All of the chipboard we use is 100% recycled and we offer recycled papers. All of our scrap is recycled and sent to the paper mill. The paper mill in-turn produces more board and sends it back to us. It’s a full-circle production cycle. Maybe this is why our customers always come back around too? 🙂 Please ask us about our environmentally-friendly packaging.

OUR SERVICES
RIGID BOXES (Standard)
The 2pc Rigid Box, also known as a setup box is the classic gift box. When you imagine a setup box, you think of an iphone box, a puzzle box or a box that holds chocolates. With our ability to customize, the options are endless.
RIGID BOXES (Motion)
Rigid Boxes have come a long way over the years. We now offer hinged-lid boxes (think cigar boxes) and clamshell boxes (this is a one-piece box that opens and shuts like a clamshell, please see our and for more examples).
Inserts
We offer die-cut inserts using a variety of materials: chipboard, sbs, foam, fluted, and more. Send us your product and we’ll design an insert that fits perfectly. These are perfect for candle boxes, wine boxes, olive oil boxes, sports team season ticket boxes, chocolate boxes, pharmaceutical boxes and many more applications.
SHIPPING BOXES
This is a new segment for Catawba Paper Box. We now have the ability to produce custom-corrugated boxes for shipping and retail. We can line the inside and outside with a custom paper, elevating the luxury near to that of a setup box.
FOLDING RETAIL BOXES
Using SBS or 24pt chipboard, we can die-cut any style box for your package. Our primary focus is high-end rigid boxes, aka, setup boxes, but we believe it’s best to offer our customers as many options as possible.
PRINTING PROCESS
Rigid boxes are constructed by die-cutting paper and board and marrying the two together in our box-making process. Folding boxes are generally printed directly on the board. We offer the following printing capabilities:
Offset Print, Digital Print, Foil Stamp (aka Hot Stamp), Emboss, Screenprint, and Letterpress. We can add UV or aqueous coat or varnish.
